Hi Friends,

I am getting a weird error.

I have a non-mandatory field within one of my forms in Case Entity and is visible. This field is getting automatically populated with value, from one of our applications used in Integration (Webservice code is used to pull data from 3rd party application and populate in this field).

Since in order to avoid user to put data manually, we need to hide that field (I cannot make it read only. Requirement is to hide only).

Now Problem is : - When i hide this field, save and publish and import as a manged solution to other environment. Still this field gets visible.

Also I tried to move this to hidden tabs/section, still it is not getting resolved.

I don't know, if the attribute in target environment is managed, though in form, it is showing as managed.

Please let me know, what other things I can do to avoid this conflict.

I have seen this issue many times and it happens when you have same entity referred in multiple solution.To resolve this

Add a new tab and section then move all the fields from existing tab and sections to new tab/section. Once all the fields moved to new one delete the old tab/section then save and publish customization. Now export and import customization. This will carry over all your changes without any issue.
