Hi,

when creating app registration for dynamics, what does this redirect URI do or mean? and how to know what to fill it with? and do we really need it?

And do we need these two? /Authentication/ and /API permissions/, if yes then for what?

What's the App Registration for?

For OData/Integrations/Etc - anything setup in Entra ID Applications - you don't need it

These app registrations in Azure aren't just for D365 Finance, they serve all kinds of Authentication patterns. Some of these patterns can make use of a redirect URL after authenticating.
