Application Object Server

I see this question has been asked and reviewed them before presenting myself with my issue.

I installed this program on one computer and intend on using only one computer right now.

Upon starting up MICROSOFT DYNAMICS AX 2012, I receive this error:

Logon error
---------------------------
Connection with the Application Object Server could not be established.

I've tried Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services but I don't see any entree in regards to Dynamics to start or stop.

Also tried Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX Configuration Utility but it give me the error that i'm not the administrator, when I am.

What can I do to fix this?

Thank-you.

Can you check if you can see

Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Microsoft Dynamics AX Server Configuration

    Hi

Your AX Client configuration is wrong.

You have to open the Microsoft Dynamics AX Configuration Utility, so right click and choose Run as Administrator.

Here you have to verify on Connection Tab the AOS details, so Server name, Instance and TCP/IP Port.

I think AOS Service is installed on a specific dedicate Server.

    More info at technet.microsoft.com/.../hh378075.aspx

Ok, I managed to open and edit/add/delete.

What TCP/IP Port value do I put?

That means Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Configuration is not in your system/server and AOS is not installed in your machine. You would have to check where AOS is installed and then you can put details(server,TCP/IP) in configuration.

Ok, I went through the install screen again, went to install AOS. My following screen gave me this error:

Hotfix for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 (KB2390372)

The .NET Framework 4.0 hotfix described in Microsoft Knoweledge Base article number 2390372 is required.

Download and install the hotfix from http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=201007

I went to the link, downloaded the hotfix, went to install, and got this warning:

KB2390372v2 does not apply, or is blocked by another condition on your computer.

How do I proceed from here?
