Hi All,
We have a production crm environment with a community portal installed. We also have a sandbox crm environment but I can't seem to figure out how to find and set up the portal for the sandbox. A sandbox crm is of no value if there isn't a front end to test with.
What am I missing?!?
Thanks,
John
If there is no sandbox for portal, then how do you develop?
Hello Ben, Ravi,
I have a similar situation - where I have installed "Partner Portal" in one of our D365 Customer Engagement (MSD CRM) Sandbox environment. I do know that Microsoft provides only 1 Production instance for Portals. Hence, we went ahead and purchased a Sandbox environment for Partner Portal (more than 1 month ago) - how to access this? We haven't received any documentation or support on how to configure/access this to link it to our existing D365 Sandbox environment. When I go to D365 Admin Center --> Applications, I'm able to see an option to manage "Portal Add-On", where it shows type as "Production". Any help is appreciated!!
Thanks!

Hi Rizzon,
By default you get only one portal. If you need another portal instance, you need to purchase it additionally.
Hope this helps.
Unfortunately whilst you do get 2 environments (1 production and 1 sandbox) with every CRM subscription you only receive a single portal.
