I am running into a navigation issue. I have an associate view on a parent entity. When you edit one of the child records and click Save and Close, you are navigated back to the parent page. To go to another record in the associate view, you need to navigate back to the associate view from the parent.

Is there a way to prevent this from happening? I tested this on a clean install of dynamics 365 customer service and the same behavior happens when navigating from account to contact associate view. When you update a contact and click Save and Close, it navigates you back to the account record (instead of the associate view list).

This is standard behavior. I would suggest you , right click the record to open in new tab.
