Packing slip cannot be posted in D365 when order is coming from CE

Hi together,

we are facing following issue:

we are not able to post the packing slip in D365 due to dual write error:

Unable to write data to entity salesorders.Writes to SalesOrderHeaderCDSEntity failed with error message Request failed with status code BadRequest and CDS error code : 0x80043b1d response message: The product and the unit cannot be updated while the entity is locked.

This happens in following cases:

- the order is created out of an quotation in CE (transferred from CE to D365)
- the order is created out of an quotation in FO (quotation is coming from CE, transferred to D365, order is created in D365)

We tried several features but none of them seems to help.

Maybe you guys have some input/help for me.

Moved from Dynamics 365 Sales forum, because it seems to be about posting in F&O.

Note that your statements like "from CE to D365" doesn't make a good sense, because CE is D365 as well and you actually mean F&O when saying D365. Dynamics 356 brand includes all these applications (and many more).

Did you find a resolution to this? I'm having a similar issue when doing Invoice Post (we're non-stock products so skipping the packing slip).
