Unable to edit option sets (choice) that are synced with global choice

Hi there,

I need assistance that we have custom Lead Sub-Source field in the system which is an option set/choice field and is synced with global choice. Now, whenever I edit the options within the Lead Sub-Source choices, the changes are not being reflected. I don't understand what seems to be the problem. If there's any solution to that please let me know.

Hi,

I did not reproduce your problem in my testing.

When I disable write permissions for the security role that may be associated with this Lead Sub-Source field and apply field security to the Lead Sub-Source field, the changes to the option set are still reflected.

Therefore, I suspect this may be a bug.
If this issue is affecting your normal business, it is recommended that you raise a support ticket for further assistance.
