Hi All,
I have recently had to transition some users away from having active Dynamics 365 licences. We do still have users with licences assigned and actively using Dynamics, but approximately 1/3 of previous staff have had their licences removed.
When removing these licences, I was given a message suggesting that data would be deleted following the end of a Disabled, and then, Deprovisioned state.
My query is how this process affects records created by previous and current users:
- Does maintaining at least one active licence on the Dynamics instance ensure all data is retained (including data entered form deprovisioned users)?
- Will leads entered by users who have had their Dynamics 365 licences removed (while still maintaining an active Office 365 subscription) be removed after the deprovision period?
- Will leads entered by users who have their Office 365 account fully removed/deprovisioned be removed from our Dynamics instance?
Thanks All.
