I have setup survey to be sent via email using imported contacts. The import is successful - 776 recipients added to email as expected. When I hit Send i get the following error
Did you hit by any chance the 2000 responses limit?
Nope - less than 1000 recipients for the survey to be sent to. If I use exactly the same file but with just one recipient the survey gets sent
Maybe check with your IT department that there are no limits on sending emails?
Found out what the error was. The data file being used to import the contacts had a couple of commas in one of the variable fields that it didn't like. Appalling lack of information in the error message that would have been so easy to solve otherwise has caused several days of work and frustration let alone the delay in getting a vital data capture survey sent out. At least we know for next time but MS really needs to work on making their error messages more informative.
