Service update stuck on step 25 , error about missing dependencies.

Hello, while installing Service update 40 on DEV machine, I got an error like below at step 25. I4c is an isv package and is installed on the system. XXX and YYY models are our customised models. They are already referenced to each other in the Dependencies section. However, it gave this error after starting the upgrade process. I don't understand why it can't see these models. I tried to uninstall the Dependencies from VS and reinstall them, but it doesn't work. Does anyone have any idea?

    I feel the version 10.0.40 have some slight changes in Model, hence, either the ISV, or your custom models are missing some references.
     
    What I would try is,
    • Uninstall and the ISV and my custom models;
    • Apply MS service update
    • Install the ISV
    • Re-import my custom models.
    You should be able to detect the exact model with the issue.

    Can you clarify what you mean by service update 40? Is this a quality update for version 10.0.40 or an update of the ISV solution?
    Models can reference each other. You can only reference one to another. Can you tell us if your customizations are including changes on top of the ISV solution? Do the customization models have a reference to the ISV solution?
