Hi there,

I haven't been able to find any answers to this.

Is it possible to configure Quality tests to automatically pass when they are created?

We currently have Quality tests created when receiving POs into our warehouse. We have multiple quality levels, and i would like to configure the tests for Quality Level 1 to pass automatically for the full quantity being received

Hey Laurens, currently our Level 1 Quality is essentially a visual inspection that determines whether a package is accepted as an example. The team feel that going through the Level 1 Quality process takes up too much time relative to the value it adds, and would prefer for the Quality tests to default as passed, so that they can manage this test as exception based. For example if 95% of Level 1 tests are passing without issue, they would only need to spend the time processing the test on the 5% of failures, thus saving themselves some time.

    Good day,

Could you share maybe a few insights / a backgound  why you want to pass level 1 in case of full quantity?

    Best regards,

    Hi,
I checked the official documentation (Quality management tests - Supply Chain Management | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn) and technical blogs (www.cloudfronts.com) and there is no such standard feature. You may need custom development to meet your needs, and if you don't have a developer, you can enlist the help of a Microsoft partner: Find the right app | Microsoft AppSource. Or you can choose to automate the process through Power Automate to help you achieve your needs: Microsoft Power Automate – Process Automation Platform | Microsoft.
    Best regards,
    Kevin
