Hi O.SAVARY, thank you for the detailed response and your English is fine. I think we need more detailed telemetry to help investigate the issue. I created a sticky post with instructions here: community.dynamics.com/.../how-to-submit-guides-repro-steps-telemetry-through-windows-feedback-hub. If that does not work for you, let me know and we will go offline to create a formal support ticket.

    Hi,

First of all thanks for your quick answer>

i chech my version a already have the latest version but just for sur i redo the procedure but this change nothing to my issue.

Here you will find an extract of my version :

    Version de l'application : 600.2103.19001.0

Version de la solution : 600.0.0.1

You will find at this link :

    drive.google.com/.../1Y0Hre3AdJXaLW0BzuQziUrC3EGI5iY8O

all the screen shot maybe useful to help me.

In the meantime i tried to answer at your question:

Can you upload successfully as an admin rather than an author? --> No  but i'm not sure to succes to passe in adminstrator as you can see on the image "user information" acces mode is in read and write, and when i try to pass this field in admin i have the folowing error : Exception Message: A user cannot change their access mode if they are the only user with Full Access mode.

(i put the full error detail in the link)

Can you upload images (e.g., JPG, PNG, etc.)?--> yes perfectly and same for the video.

Are the models very large? Will smaller model files upload successfully?--> i try both large and small, both dont works.

Are the models very complex? Will a simpler model upload successfully?--> same that previous question i try both and it still not working (always with the same error)

Do any of the models have dependencies (some formats support this). If so, ensure Guides has access all dependencies.--> Normaly no, but i' not sure how can i check if guides have acces>

I also try to import the 3d object directly inside the guides power apps but it does'nt works because as you can see in the picture "create 3d object from power apps" , the field File and more precisely the button Chose file are locked.

i hope i give you all the information you migth need to help me.

thank you in advance for the help you will give me and sorry if my english is not perfect.

    Hi O.SAVARY,

First, I would first ensure you are running the latest solution version. Upgrade information can be found here. We have made some changes in recent releases that make it easier to manage files in Dataverse (formerly known in CDS). Dataverse is the backend platform that holds all of your guides and models.

Next is to try to narrow down the problem to a format problem, connectivity problem, permission problem, etc. Can you attach a screenshot/snippet of the exact error message (WinKey+Shift+S) or paste the exact error message?

In the meantime try the following to help narrow down causes:

    • Can you upload successfully as an admin rather than an author?
    • Can you upload images (e.g., JPG, PNG, etc.)?
    • Are the models very large? Will smaller model files upload successfully?
    • Are the models very complex? Will a simpler model upload successfully?
    • Do any of the models have dependencies (some formats support this). If so, ensure Guides has access all dependencies.
