How to reopen a closed activity/appointment?

A user created an activity for a meeting in the future and accidently closed it instead of leaving it as scheduled.  How do I go about reopening the activity and changing the status to scheduled from closed?  When I try to use the level up admin tool in god mode to set the status from completed to scheduled I receive this error:

    Hi,
     
    You can use the client API to update the Status field of the appointment record to 0 (Open).
    This way, the appointment record is reopened.
