App permissions not working anymore?

Hi, we created multiple apps and set them up with particular security roles, so that a user with a specific security roles only sees the apps he/she is allowed to use.

At the moment it looks like Microsoft has managed to totally break this feature. No matter what we do, it is not possible to limit the apps for our users. My users see all apps existing in the system and can even use them, even though they shouldn't since they don't have the security roles to access most of these apps.

Is this just another sideeffect of the whole metadata caching debacle Microsoft currently is running?

Anybody knows a workaround?

    Hi,

    Could you double check the security roles for these Apps navigating by 

    https://xxxx.crm.dynamics.com/tools/AppModuleContainer/applandingtilepage.aspx. Because I set the Apps with particular security roles,and it works.

    Hi, we found out that it was one particular security role that was kind of bugy. Whenever this security role was assigned to an user then the user got to see all possible apps, even though that security role was not linked to that apps. We worked around this by creating custom security roles.

    I am running into this same situation. I have custom security roles labeled Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3. I created an app that is only available to Level 3, but all users are able to see it. What is happening here?
