What happens when you make a change to expense approval workflow?

There was existing expense approval workflow that went user - direct manager - coo. Accounting had to manually fix too many errors so they asked that I add them in the mix so they could reject if they saw it was submitted incorrectly. So it was changed to user - direct manger - accounting - coo. Now they want it back. Easy to switch but there are about 12 or so submissions still under the 3 tier approval process. What happens to them once i set the two stage approval process back as the defualt?

Yep, you are correct. As long as the workflow has not been deleted, they will continue w/the normal process of the old workflow. I tested this morning. When looking at workflow history, I see the older ones under the old version number and still working.
