Hi experts, do we know a trick how to hide this Advanced Find as we have another "fennel" advanced find as per usual.

The second question is about the button before it with same default icon, it is Import Data, can I hide that as well?

thanks in advance, Armine

hi and thanks, I was not able to remove the solution as my Sitemap was dependent on it, but upgrading Org Insights solved the issue.

Nikita is correct, i just went through this and removing the deprecated solution and reinstalling the current Org Insights solution resolved all issues! Thanks Nikita!

    Yes Organization Insights is Deprecated.

The dashboards would not return any data at this time anyways, so you can remove.

This does fix some of the icons issues in some situations and it has for me in the past.

Hi Nikita, I have Organization Insights 1.1.0.0 installed,pastedimage1571984373150v1.png, do you suggest deleting this solution? I mean it is not a Preview, will it be safe just to remove it?

  • RE: Navigation additional icons and buttons

Also check if you have the Organization Insights Preview solution installed it was deprecated and needs to be Uninstalled - it has caused issues in the top icons in Unified Interface list like you've shown. Hope that helps!

Let us know if you resolved the issue and how for others to learn from :)

Thanks Henry, will have the 2019 realease wave 2 updated automatically sometime in October 11 to 13 and we'll see what happens. This APP is our prod environment and there is no use to manually apply the update on sandboxes.

Just do add to that, as of now, out-of-the-box global commands such as Advanced Find are not customizable.

They are not part of the ribbon XML and are injected into the global command bar by the infra.

    Hi Armine,

What you are showing in your screenshot are Global Commands, as Scott Durow has detailed in this blog article:

    develop1.net/.../Adding-Global-Command-Buttons-to-the-Unified-Interface-

You or ISVs must have customized it because I'm surprised to see custom entity icons and not the expected usual icons (like Advanced Find).

One thing I would change before doing anything if checking if applying Early Access to the Release Wave 2 changes anything as these bring some interface improvement. You can activate it  (on a test environment) by following these steps: docs.microsoft.com/.../preview-october-2019-updates

    Henry
