Display method in table field group

Hello

i have insert a display method from a table extension in a table field group. When i add the table field group in a form the display method will not be shown. If i create a new control in the form and assign the same display method from table extension to the control everything works fine.

Isn't it possible to insert display method from table extension in table field group?

    Hi.

    It is actually possible to add a display method to a field group, as long as the field group does not belong to another model package. So if you create your own field group and add the display method it will work.

    I guess its a flaw that it will not work when adding display methods to field groups from other model packages. It works with normal fields so why not with display methods?!
