Unable to create any Bookable Resource other than User

Hello!

We are trying to setup additional Bookable Resources, other than the standard User.

Field Service Version 8.8.1.45.

No matter what Resource Type we select, we are unable to save the new resource and will get the following error:

Permission is set to System Administrator while encountering this error.

The error details are unfortunately not much help (to me).

Any idea what record the system is looking for?

I have tried to create a Facility/Equipment first (through Business Management Settings), to no avail.

Anybody else has been running into this issue and found a resolution?

Your feedback is highly appreciated!

Best Regards,

Hartmut

    Thank you,

This did provide some additional information:

    error: {code: "0x80040217", message: "calendar With Id = 4d29451a-7e4d-e811-a971-000d3a1ab48b Does Not Exist",…}

Not sure what calendar the system is looking for or where the calendar reference is coming from.

The error is showing in Production and Sandbox, so we have no environment where we can recover the calendar as suggested here:

    https://community.dynamics.com/crm/f/microsoft-dynamics-crm-forum/260035/calendar-with-id-2c640fe4-7dbe-e711-80ea-3863bb348bd0-does-not-exist?pifragment-97030=1#responses

    Thanks!

Do you have any logic that tries to set a default work hour template for your newly created resource? That's what I read from the error message.

    Have a look at https://<YourInstance>.crm4.dynamics.com/main.aspx?appid=<appId>&pagetype=entitylist&etn=msdyn_workhourtemplate
