CRM 2015 - Which versions allow for Edit with Excel Online?

Hello.  My company is currently running version 7.0.2.53 of CRM 2015.  The "Edit with Excel Online" is missing.  I'm wanting to know if this version is compatible with Excel Online, and if not, which versions are.  I'm trying to do my homework so I know what I'm asking for.  This is a rather large company, so any change no matter how small, seems to take an act of congress to do it.  I'm just trying to figure out if they intentionally have this feature turned off, or if we need to upgrade to a newer version.  Having the ability to edit in excel will save time.

Thanks!

    Hi,

If I am not wrong, Excel Online is only available for CRM Online. You need to migrate to Dynamics 365 Customer Engamenet Online in order to get this functionality.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

This is available in CRM 2015 online with Update roll-up 1 or later. Please see below link for more information.

AFAIK excel online is not a feature you can use in on-premise versions.

You can however use 'export to excel' and flag the option 'export for re-import' to make changes in excel and import your excel again.
