How Power automate made the connection with D365F&I?

Is it through D365F&O connector. Anything else?

Yes, you can use the D365 F&O actions available in the Power automate using the connection.

It's just one of the options. You can use the Dataverse connector to access F&O data entities (and their actions) exposed as Dataverse virtual entities or synchronized with Dataverse, and the HTTP connector to communicate with any API (e.g. data management ones).
