Multiple Vouchers for Allocation Journal

Posted on by

I have a ledger rule set up to pull anything that was not coded to a machine type to be allocated at specific % to 4 different machine types.  When I process the allocation for January, and then review the journal, I see multiple lines, and voucher's, most with no values in them.  It is creating 4 vouchers, I assume this is lining up with the 4 different allocation types, but then I don't understand why all the information is in one voucher.  Any ideas?  Please see screen shots below for ledger rules and journals

Ledger Rule:

Ledger Offset- I'm not 100% sure I need the user specified offset account listed, or if I can have it all grab from the source. Any comments on this?

Source- My intention is that I am pulling anything that hits account 7220000 with a blank machine type

Here is my Destination breakdown:- each category is for a different machine type group.

When I process the allocation through the periodic function that is fine, and then I get to the journal and I don't understand why there are so many voucher lines.  These numbers and values are correct.

RE: Multiple Vouchers for Allocation Journal

    Hi,

    This looks a bit strange.

Can you check if entering a date interval code in the allocation rule makes any difference to the lines created?

What AX2012 version do you operate?

Do you know if modifications have been made to the ledger allocation rule?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
