Spam contacts created by SYSTEM

Hi,

I seem to have an issue with spam contacts being created by the SYSTEM. See below images

As you can see, these contacts are very random and common for all of them is that they don't have an email attached to them. Almost all of them also have some random note included like the one you can see on the second image.

I have no idea how/why they are being created, but there are thousands of them and they keep on coming in.

Anyone knows what can be the root to this problem?

Hope that someone can help me.

Hi Jonathan,

These records are created by the social activities that are shown in the time line.

I guess Social Engagement is configured to do so, with the help of the "Automatic Record Creation and Update Rules” option in CE.

Hi Jonathan,

These contacts may be created by plugins or workflows.

So please check the following:

1. Go to Settings > System Jobs, check if there are some workflows for creating spam contacts.

2. Go to Settings > Plug-In Trace Log, check if there is a log of the relevant plugin.
