Copy security role from child business unit to parent business unit

Hi,

I have created a few security roles in the child business unit, but when trying to export those security roles by adding them to a solution it says the root business unit of the component is missing.

So, I came to know that security roles should be created on the parent business unit level to export/import.

Now I want to copy the roles from child BU to parent so that I could export by adding that to a solution.

Can anyone help me how to achieve this?

I am afraid that we can not copy the roles between different BU.

You can create a new idea through the below URL, then ask your colleagues to raise up the votes.
