Hello Experts,

I have an issue with dynamics nav 5.0 sp1 when i restored a database and try to connect using Sql Authentication i get this error :

The combination of user ID and password entered is invalid

Steps i followed :

1) I set trace flag 4616 to startup Parameters

2) I Installed & Configured "xp_ndo_enumusergroups", "xp_ndo_enumusersids" NAV SQL extended stored procedures

3) I created database and i restored backup file 

4) I created users in Sql Server and assigned a db_Owner for those users on my restored database.

5) I synchronized those users

NB: i can connect with my session user (windows Account) if i add it as a user in sql server

Any Solution please

    When you created the SQL user did you uncheck "User must change password at next login" , you need to uncheck that while creating the user or else you will not be able to login.

    Yes i unckecked that checkBox

    Have you tried it with SA user.

    I have the exact same problem. tried with the SA account, unchecked that checkbox.

    have u solved the issue? please help.
