Debugging a plugin in CRM 2016 on premise

Hi all,

I am using CRM 2016 On premise version

I am using actions in plugins, how to debug my plugin, Can someone please explain steps with screen shots

    You should have to enable the plugin trace log as mentioned in below url :

    www.powerobjects.com/.../

    Hi Pravin Pawar,

    My plugin trace log entity don't have any records.

    Is there any special SDK/Plugin Registration tool for CRM 2016 On Premise version

    If you want to capture and store error log file you can add plugin trace log inside c# code.

    Once it will stored in plugin trace log entity you can copy paste log into one text file.

    Thanks for your reply

    It is so much help full.

    Still I have one issue, I can't trigger my plugin as step is showing like "(Step)xxxxxxxxxx : xxxxxxxxxx of any entity"

    Just replaced actual names with "xxxxxxxxxx". What does this means and how to trigger this plugin or how to generate error file to use as profile file
