"One or more products are not available in this store" error even though the item is listed in the assortment

When we try to complete transactions with certain items, the system shows "One or more products are not available in this store" error when the transaction is tendered. I don't think this is an issue with assortments as we are using the same assortment for different stores and this is happening at one store randomly. Multiple full syncs dint help me either.

I searched for the error on Microsoft lcs and i got two results matching the issue. Issue 3215594 shows that Microsoft has evaluated the issue and the issue will not be resolved at this time. And in issue 3611581 it shows that " This issue occurs because an All Products search adds the product to a temporary table that is used to sell items that are not assorted to the store (virtual catalog feature). The record in the temporary table is not cleared for 24 hours." Does anyone have any idea which table it is getting written on ?

Hi Shafeeque,

I know that you have posted this a while ago and you probably solved your issue by now. I just wanted to share my feedback here as I have been getting the same error recently & I managed to solve it today. So I would love to share in case other people face the same problem.

The temporary table you are asking about is "TmpAssortedProducts". There, you will find a list of all items that are making this error appear in the POS. I simply cleared the table & the issue is gone.

Hope this could be helpful to anyone facing the same issue.

Unfortunately, I dint have the time to dig in to the issue as this happened only 2 or 3 times post go live. Thank you for the update.

Hi Shafeeque,

I am facing an error that is related with products.

When i search a product on POS (using the function button Search Product) after that i try to insert it on the transaction but i can not. I get the below message "Product not Found''. (The product is in the assortment list of the store).

Any help?

Try to remove the item category and assign it again

Then run 'process assortments' and 'product availability' from Retail module.
