Electronic Reporting - Missing bindings on shared Invoice Model mapping

Dear all,
We are using D365FO (10.0.39) and want to use ER for our (Project) invoices.

I tried to use the share configuration /Project invoice (Excel), which is based on the Invoice Model using the Invoice model mapping, both are shared configurations from Microsoft.
I am getting 213 errors, that bindings are missing from the Invoice model mapping to the Invoice model.
Using the Sales Invoice format which is also based on the Invoice model, works find.

My question is: What is the point of sharing a configuration that is missing so many bindings? Am I missing something here?

Kind regards, Adis

    Hi Adis,
Project invoice (Excel) apply "Project invoice model mapping (RDP)" as main model mapping. Please make sure that the model mapping is active for "Default for model mapping"

Thanks for the hint! I do have some questions here if you dont mind.

    1.:
How do you know that "Project invoice model mapping (RDP)" is the main model mapping and not the "Invoice model mapping"? I thought its Invoice model mapping, which turns out its wrong. Is there a documentation or visible somewhere in the system?

    2.:
When I turn the RDP model mapping as default, I dont get the prompt to select a specific Invoice. Can you explain why that is?

Usually, I get this prompt when selecting the invoice model mapping as default:

     Hi Adis,
RDP (Report Data Provider) is created for SSRS documents. When it comes to project invoices (Excel) created for SSRS documents, you can search for the model mapping (RDP) that is created. In this case, there is a "Project Invoice Model Mapping (RDP)" created for project invoices without billing rules. For more information about business documents, you can follow my blog:  https://dynfotech.com/tag/businessdocuments/

For some model mappings, there is no mapping based on an AX query. Instead, they use an object to trigger the document based on the print function, which means you need to run the report from the actual form. It is not possible to run it directly from ER.
