Dynamics 365 and MS Social Engagement not connecting

I can't get Social Engagement and D365 to connect.  In either direction I can't get past the Social Engagement Configuration screen in D365:

Connect Microsoft Dynamics 365 to your Microsoft Social Engagement solution. With Microsoft Social Engagement, you can get in-context social insights.

Select the Microsoft Social Engagement solution to connect to:

And in Social Engagement when creating the connection it just stays on the dialogue:

Add Connection

We're testing the connection. You may be asked to enter the credentials for your Dynamics 365 instance. When the connection is established, we'll take you to the next step.
I am as admin in both environments, have followed the guides.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    I raised a ticket with MS support and managed to get a solution. Below if you are interested.

    According to verbatim there is issue connecting Dynamics 365 with MSE

    Action Plan

    Turnoff Popup blocker in Internet Explorer and It will take around 5 Mins to auto populate Dynamics 365 URL.

    Or

    We can use Mozilla browser to connect Dynamics 365 to MSE.
