How to admin self service portal

Hi, 

I have created self service portal using my stage instance, How to access the portal as admin its not allowing me to login to backend, 

How to customize the portal?

Is there any best practices or methods to create maintain customer service portal. 

Please suggest

    Hi

    As mentioned above, like CRM, portals also work based on web role. The easiest options would be to register yourself on the portal and then within CRM assign your contact administrator role. You will then get the admin privledges to perform more customization & configuration.

    Hi Partner,

    In order for your User account to configure the Portal you will need to assign the Administrators Web Role for the corresponding Portal Contact record.
