I want to get a report which will give me transaction entered on specific dates.  Which Date filter should I use in NAV.

For Example, My month end is completing on 31.03.2015 but I am still entering some transaction on 09.04.2015 in GL which relates to March and I am using posting date as 31.03.2015.  Can I get a summary of transaction  which I entered on 09.04.2015.

    Hi,

    You may refer the "G/L Register" table, which has the "Creation Date".  The "Creation Date" is the actual date you posted the transaction.

    Thank MMV,

    In that case I have to prepare Jet Report, but is there any way through which I can check these transactions in NAV itself? Sorry, I am new in NAV so may be it is very basic.

    There is also a report called "G/L Register".  I don't know whether the details mentioned would suffice you.  You may filter by "Creation Date".

    My suggestion is to open the "G/L Registers" page, filter by "Creation Date" and from there you are able to navigate to the details (if you wish to get more details).

    You can also check entry which is posted dated on 09.04.2015 to set filter on creation date field in  "G/L Register" table with required details.
