I would like to upload a new hero image to the home page on Dynamics 365 Customer Service portal, I have created a new web file and attached the jpg I want to the note, I have deleted the default web file with the out of the box image, but the portal is not being updated, the default image disappeared but the new one is not being uploaded, what am I missing?

Hi,
Idealy you should have just added the new image on the notes of an existing web file "homehero.jpg". If you have created the new web file with the same name and everything then it should work. I have just tried adding an image on note of existing web file and it worked fine.
Alternatively, you can also change it from the from editor as well. On the home page, click children, this will give you all the pages/files. Select homehero and click edit. upload a new image there.
Do try cache clear.
