XML Charts - Outdated experience?

Hi all,
As there are more and more updates coming to D365 Marketing, I have been trying to find out more about the standard charts we have in our views

These charts are clunky, old-school, and in no way shape or form represent a user experience in 2024

... To change colors or labels we have to download XML files and exit them.

My question is, as these charts are probably not specific to marketing, does anyone know if these are planned to be updated at any point in the near future?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Unfortunately, there is no mention of a charts update in Microsoft's future release schedule.

You can use Advanced Chart Editor in XRMToolBox to edit charts.
This XrmToolBox tool allows you to modify the charts from the model-driven app without having to export the charts or know how to modify the chart XML.

    Best Regards,
    Dengliang Li

I would not hold your breath. We've been forced to use this "Crystal Reports from 1996" throughout and there's nothing on the horizon other than Power BI, which doesn't enable the user to click through to records. One of a few remaining legacy items that make Dynamics feel obsolete compared to it's modern competitors.

If anyone hears better news I'm all ears.
