Does resetting sandbox instance reverts wave updates and also taking backup before wave update and restore it on updated instance reverts the update?

Any information will be helpful.

    Hey Nitish.  

    Unfortunately no.  While Ambar's response is correct for custom code & Data, the Dynamics waves are pieces of code already deployed on the service. If you reset/restore an environment, the features have already been deployed meaning that those functionalities will be there.

    HI ,

    Resetting will apply initial factory settings and will delete all the data and customization from instance , means something like scratch , after that it will manual activity for you to apply back all changes .
