Hey friends

 I am facing a weird problem with Ax 2009 client configuration file.

I am open a client configuration in 2009 but it automatically connect with a x 2012 client configuration.

Kindly provide a solution for this issue.................

    Right click on config file and select "open with" and then select AX 2009 "AX32.exe" file from C:\Program files(X86) -> Microsoft Dynamics AX -> 50 -> Client -> Bin.

    I come through with same procedure ,but still it opens in 2012 configuration..

    A nice workaround: Link your .axc files with the ax32.exe from your Dynamics AX2009 client. Change the extension of the axc files for the AX2012 to axc1 and link the axc1 extension to the AX2012 client.

    When you start an axc file, the system remembers which exe it used the last time so therefor you can run into these troubles when you have multiple versions on 1 machine.
