Problem with configuring Social Engagement!

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I have managed to add my company Facebook page, my Facebook account, company Instagram account.

Also, I have added several search criterias and rules but nothing seems to show up in analytics.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't have a clue at the moment.

Someone, pls help.

As you can see, I have rules defined, but the problem is that quota returns no posts whatsoever.

For instance, if I have added a search rule with a type "Facebook page rule", I imagine that I should have receive all notifications related to my Facebook page that is connected to my Social engagement. BUt I receive nothing.

Br,

Marko

    Hamlet,

    That was something that I have tried first. I've created several posts, messages, likes, comments, but nothing was showed in Analysys. Just posted new pic on Instagram. Everything is as before.

    Hi Marko,

    One thing to know is that a search rule will acquire posts starting at the time you create it and going forward to the future. It will not go back in time and index old posts.

    Your instagram account's latest post is 4 days old: www.instagram.com/comping_hr

    Some with the facebook page: www.facebook.com/Comping-doo-312763708775674

    Are there actually new posts being made in the last few hours? Can you try making some same posts, wait a few minutes, and see if they get acquired?

    Hamlet,

    Thank you again for you support. I've contacted support for Croatia, and they have instructed me to raise a service call by administrator of my Office 365. Problem is that this is so slow and disappointing since I've done everything right and I can't use the service that I should have and that we have paid for!

    Thumb down for Microsoft for this one!

    How can I sell this solution to my customers tomorrow if I can't get it running in my solution!?

    Thx again and have a nice weekend,

    Marko

    From what I see, you've done it all correctly:

    * you created social profiles

    * you created search rules

    I think you should contact support. The support page is here: mbs.microsoft.com/.../CRMSupport

    There is a table there that tells you how to contact support based on which product you bought.
