SiteMap - Sub Area

Hello,

I am configuring the SiteMap in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016.

I added a new Sub Area where a link is deposited. Now when I click on the Sub Area, the link works but is in the same window. Is there a possibility, if you click on the Sub Area a new tab opens automatically?

Hi partner,

You have to right-click the sub area and click Open link in new tab.

Hello Lu Hao,

Thank you for your reply. I know about this, but we should open it directly without right-click. The goal is to click on the sub area and it works automatically.

There is no setting in SiteMap that allows this. The only supported workaround is to load an external html page with script on the onload event to launch the link you want in a new window - the thread posted above by Bipin Kumar shows how to do this.

In some circumstances it may be viable to create a Ribbon button instead, but the big limitation of this is that ribbon buttons are entity-specific
