Issue with auditing for Bookable Resource entity

Hi,

I have enabled the auditing for 'Bookable resource' entity and move the same solution into different environment. But the auditing is not enabled once the solution is moved.

Is this expected?

If i enable the auditing on the 2nd instance for bookable resource, then will the auditing work? Is this the preferred way ?

Hello,

If you have an active layer on 'Bookable resource' entity in your target environment and if you deploy a custom managed solution then changes will not take effect and auditing will not be enabled in your target environment.

Check this by going to your default solution.

Settings -> customizations -> customize the system -> entities -> Bookable resource -> Click on Solution layers.

When you directly modify a Managed component, it creates an Active layer(Unmanaged customization) on top of Managed layers. If there is an active layer already, you can directly enable the auditing in your target environment.
