The user i am using have administrative rights with access to C drive also.
and it is domain user too.
I used Management reporter version 2.0 which is available in the on the following link:
https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/downloads/servicepacks/MRInstall#download
When i click on Management Reporter Database
It appears with the message as follows,
And when i click on log, it appears as follows,
Thanks

If copying the file locally didn't resolve the issue than I believe there is either an issue with:
1. Free space - the C:\ drive or location C:\Users\MR\AppData\Local\Temp\ does have sufficient disk space
2. Permissions - C:\ drive or location C:\Users\MR\AppData\Local\Temp\ is not accessible to this user for some reason.
3. There is an issue with Windows Installer or some other installation mechanism.
You may want to try logging on as a different user.
You also didn't mention which installer you are using. Make sure you recently downloaded the Management Reporter SP1 (Full Installation) file and are installing from there first. Otherwise maybe try installing the Management Reporter Client instead and confirm it is just the server bits that are having problems.
Otherwise I can't say I've seen this error before. If you continue to have issues with the steps I provided you may have to log a support ticket so someone can walk through the install with you and capture some additional logs and detail.
Thanks

Thanks Ryan
I did your above mentioned procedure and started setup again but i faced same error.
I pasted all log file above.
Hello,
There looks to be an issue extracting to the temp directory. Verify you are copying down the installation bits from the file share or CD to a local folder that is not the desktop or root of the drive. Copy the files to C:\temp and then run. That should resolve your error. Otherwise you may have additional errors in the Event Log to point to the specific error.
Thanks
Ryan
