Regarding Customer Insights trial capacity:

  • How many tables/records can be ingested in a a Customer Insights Trial?
  • Is there a limit?
  • How Many Tables?
  • How many records per table?
  • How many unified customer profiles?
  • Is there a official link with this info? Could I share the link with the customer?

I can not found any information on docs.microsoft.com

Thanks in advance for your support.

RE: D365 Customer Insights trial data capacity limit

    Hello Antonio,

Right now there are no data limitations for Trial other than BYODL.  However this is a Trial and therefore does not and is not meant to have the same processing capacity as the paid license but all functionality is available to evaluate the product.

RE: D365 Customer Insights trial data capacity limit

Thanks for the question Antonio.  You will find no docs as there are no hard limits.  That said, for a trial we do not recommend that you go beyond the 100k profiles mark roughly.  This is because our two trial clusters (US, Europe) do run on a limited number of resources compared to our production instances to help keep our costs of running the trials down.  Performance you see when using a trial will not be the same as when running in production due to this minor difference.  In term of recommendations:

    1.  While we do not limit the records per table, we would suggest that you try to limit the number of columns to only the ones you need if you are ingesting the data with a connector (this is the first option when creating a data source, "Import Data").
    2. We would also suggest for a trial/POC that you limit the amount of data to only what you need to see some results and validate the system will do what you want and give the results you are looking for...use a crawl, walk run approach to your POC.
