Has anyone been able to set up required tracking of Serial Numbers or Lot Numbers for Field Service?
According to the any help guide I find there is supposed to be a "check" box for require serial number in the Product Inventory General Page. However, when I search the Learn.Microsoft site all I only find references to getting serial numbers or lot numbers from Finance and Operations.
Surely Microsoft was not so short sighted that they did not realize a service organization would need to track serial numbers and lot numbers.
