How to Close/discontinue a Lease contract in D365?

Hi,

I have few lease contract which are discontinued from this month. However, the lease term for these contracts are still remaining. I want to terminate them early in Dynamics 365 F&O. How can I do this in the Asset Leasing module. I want Asset Leasing module to reverse the remaining ROU and Lease Liability and recognize the net difference in P&L. How should I do this?

Hi Yasir,

This is a brand new feature. Have you checked all resources on docs.microsoft.com/.../asset-leasing-homepage ?

Yes I have read it all. I couldn't find anything related to closing the Lease books.

Hi Yasir,

I have checked with Fixed Asset team. We have just released a feature that helps to terminate a lease using new early termination functionality. It is available in 10.0.17 version, we are working on getting the documentation published out on the docs site under the Asset leasing page.
