Security : Remove access to "Delete" while keeping access to "Remove button" on SalesTableDetails

I wanted to remove access to "Delete" button (1 in screenshot) while keeping access to "Remove button" on SalesTableDetails (2 in screenshot). Everytime I remove access to the "Delete" button the "Remove" button is also removed. Is there a way to remove access only to the "Delete" button within the Security Configuration module in D365?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Brook,

Can you tell what attempt you did currently to block the access? Did you set permissions on the menu item level or something different?
You can set table (override) permissions to block delete access for the SalesTable where the privilege will still have delete permissions for the menu item.

If I understand it correctly, you want to removed delete permissions for SalesTable but keep them for SalesLine table. That's possible. But we can't tell you what you did wrong until you tell us how you actually attempted to the remove the access.

Just so we are clear, I am trying to remove access to the Delete button on top of the page which I labled "1" in my previous screenshot while maintaining access to the "Remove" button which is located further down the page (which I labelled as "2" in the previous screenshot).

I attempted to "unset" or "deny" access to the display menu item "SalesTableDetails". However, what ends up happening is that both the Delete and Remove buttons are disabled when I do this.
    Does this make sense?

    Hi Brooke,

Thanks for the clarification. For your scenario, the permissions for Delete should still be granted on the display menu item. Then you would need to add table permissions and set deny permissions for the Delete access for the SalesTable table.
