Hi there

One of my users cannot create appointments on any account. The error returned is:

Cannot set 'isdraft' as AllowSaveAsDraftAppointment is turned off

I have looked in the permissions for his security role and cannot find any record that relates to this.

    There is a tool in the XRM tool box where you can change this. Org Settings the name of the tool.

    Search AllowSaveAsDraftAppointment and click in the new box then set it to True click on Commit to 'Environment Name' and you can then save these appointments to draft

    We faced same issue. Please remove isdraft attribute from appointment before updating it. I have added below code and  it is working fine.

     appointment.Attributes.Remove("isdraft");

    Please marks as answer if it help you.

    I just ran into this same issue doing a test data migration of appointments from on prem to online ... and this forum post is the only Google hit I get for "AllowSaveAsDraftAppointment"... wonder if this is something new in D365? Or if it's something on the Exchange side?

    I will say that in my test I don't have server side sync configured yet so that might be why it's errorring out on me, but I don't know why it would be querying exchange to update a CRM record.
