Load consent center in Real time marketing

Posted on by 7

Hi All,

What happens once all contacts are loaded through load consent in RTM during transition from outbound to RTM.

1. when new contacts are created does it get load automatically or need to reload consent every time for new contacts?

2. once contact is load as opt out in consent center but later it is opt in, in contact record, does it get change/sync from opt out to opt in automatically? Or we need to change manually ?

Thanks in advance to all.

Warm Regards

Bhavna

  • Load consent center in Real time marketing
    Hello everyone,
I am looking for a way to execute "Load Consent" automatically, for example once a day.

At the moment, this button would always have to be pressed manually when changing "Allow Bulk E-Mail"
    on a contact or lead.
Or when creating new contacts and leads.

Without manually pressing the button, the settings in the Consent Center would otherwise not be applied.

Does anyone here have a solution?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

It will take some time to load depending on no. of Contacts. For me it took almost a day to load all consent.

How did you load all contacts? I clicked the Load Consent button and it only loaded a fraction of contacts from Outbound. I'm so confused on why it didn't load all contacts. What was your experience?

    Hi Bhavna,

Through my testing, these two fields on the contact do not change with you whether you opt in or out in the Consent center.

    Hi Bhavna,

You need reload consent for new contacts.

Maybe you can try to use power automate to add consent records automatically for new created contacts:

Or try to capture consent with the new Dynamics 365 Marketing Real-time Forms:

For your second question, the consent in the contact record, does it mean Consent given field or other fields?

If, however, any fields on contact record does not change with changes to records in the Consent Centre.

Also, you can use power automate to make it change automatically.
