How to get to settings in header dropdown

Hi,

In most videos I've seen on Dynamics, I've seen people get to settings or making a new app by clicking the dropdown arrow next to the text of the app: in this case, Customer Service, like so.

This dropdown menu has the settings I'm looking for, but it just isn't on my screen.

Is this because I'm using the trial version of Dynamics 365? I'd appreciate someone's help with figuring out why this isn't showing up, thanks.

Thanks! This solved the problem, except I had to turn off "Use Unified Interface Only".

    Hi partner,

    • The D365 in the first screenshot is the web client. Its site map is at the top, like a tile, you could drop down and select different apps.
    • The D365 in the second screenshot is the unified interface, and its site map is on the left, so you can't drop down at the top.

You are using the unified interface because the newly created D365 disables the web client by default and only using the unified interface.

If you want to use the drop-down site map in the web client, then you need to enable it in the Power Platform Admin center.

Go to https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/,  go to Environments and select an environment. Go to Settings Behavior Interface settings and then turn off Use Unified Interface only.

To get to settings there should be a cog on the top right hand side. Click it and then you can go to advanced settings and you'll have access to the settings for the system
