So an integration with Dynamics 365/CRM and MailChimp (PowerMailChimp) had been working fine. Then recently MailChimp temporarily deactivated our account because they now require all recipients to arrive in MailChimp via their own sign-up form. The reason they are now doing this is so that they can see the individual has given consent to be put into MailChimp and receive emails. MailChimp won't allow those in existing MailChimp marketing lists to be emailed to even get their consent because they haven't given their consent via the sign-up form! Unfortunately this means that all the marketing lists that were synced with MailChimp cannot be used and it appears that MailChimp will have to be used independently of Dynamics which is ridiculous.
Does anyone know a workaround to this to allow us to continue to sync and integrate Dynamics with MailChimp? This must be an issue for all those who have an integration with their CRM and MailChimp, regardless of the CRM platform being used.
