I have a WCF service hosted on premise which my CRM online instance needs to be able to access. I don't want to expose the WCF service for everyone, since it runs with anonymous authentication. I'm therefore trying to find a list of the IP addresses/ranges I need to allow through the firewall in order for my plugins to be able to connect to the WCF service.
I've found this article (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2728473/microsoft-dynamics-crm-online-ip-address-ranges) containing the IP ranges used by Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, but the list contains the IP's that should be opened for connecting TO CRM Online. The question then is: Is it the same IP's that should be opening for allowing a connection FROM CRM Online? Or is is different? It's quite an extensive list so before I ask my IT department to open for all of these, I would like to be sure which are needed for this specific purpose.
