Maintaining Vendor name on inventory Items

Hi,

I want to check the vendor against the item sold at the store. What's the best approach to implement this functionality.

Vendor can be saved with inventory items for all the incoming PO receipts. I'll have to make sure to enter the vendor in Inventory journals.

Has anyone implemented this before? Appreciate any tips.

Maintaining Vendor name on inventory Items

Hi MYGz,

I haven't got this requirement before. On the inventory transactions, a Party is stored referring to either the customer or vendor for sales or purchase orders. To get a vendor on inventory journals this will require a customization. You can also consider using a product dimension to store the vendor.
