D365 F&O connectivity to bank

Hi All,

My client is requesting an SFTP connectivity between the bank and D365 F&O for payment file generation and import of statements and payment status reports.

D365 will generate pain 001 xml file and send it to the bank's SFTP. The bank will then return payment status reports in pain 002 format and statements in CAMT 053 format which then need to be imported in D365 for reconciliation.

Could you please advise if this is possible through the D365 built-in functionality?

Thanks

You can use the Electronic Reporting (ER) framework in D365 F&O to generate electronic payment files in the pain.001 format. You need to configure the payment method and set up the ER format configuration

You can set up periodic data export from D365 F&O to an SFTP server. This involves configuring the SFTP connection and setting up outbound message types for data export

For importing payment status reports and bank statements, you can use the Advanced Bank Reconciliation feature in D365 F&O. This feature allows you to import electronic bank statements and reconcile them with bank transactions. You can set up the import functionality for the pain.002 and CAMT.053 formats using the Electronic Reporting (ER) framework

    Thank you, VaHiX.

Could you please advise if it is possible for the payment files to be exported without any additional development to a specific azure blob storage container and then sent to the bank's SFTP?

Regarding the payment status reports and the bank statements, we would like to avoid manual upload and all files placed in the bank's SFTP to be fetched automatically to the azure blob storage and then automatically imported (no manual upload) to D365 for ABR. Is this possible without any additional development?
