CDS to Talent Synchronise

Hi there

Does anyone know if there is a connection from CDS to Talent?

For instance if I add a worker from an external database to the CDS entity worker, does this sync back to Talent?

I have tried it in Excel but do not see the data popping up in Talent.

Hi Fenton,

absolutely! Talent cannot work without being installed on a CDS database - if you add a worker it should sync back to Talent. Via Excel, a model-driven app, canvas app, flow, other connected applications.

BUT : when you add an employee, the system will put them in a inactive state - unless you add information on the start date of the employment.

Also, sometimes it takes hours to sync from CDS to Talent (normally is an almost instant sync, but it happened to me to see the worker showing up after some hours)
